Cookie Policy

Version 2026-08-20 · Last updated 20 August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Some are needed for a website to work; others are optional and can be used for measurement, preferences or referral attribution.

2. Essential cookies

Read Write Arabic uses essential cookies for functions such as maintaining a secure session, protecting forms from cross-site request forgery, signing users in and remembering a cookie-consent choice. These are needed to provide requested site functions and are not used to build advertising profiles.

3. Optional referral cookies

If you arrive through an affiliate referral and choose to allow optional cookies, we may set a first-party referral identifier named rwa_affiliate_visitor. It is used to connect a qualifying referral with a later parent-account signup and subscription. The referral design uses a limited attribution period of up to 60 days.

If you choose “Essential only”, the optional referral cookie is not set and a pending referral is discarded.

4. Your choice

Where optional cookies are used, we ask before setting them. You can allow optional cookies or continue with essential cookies only. Declining optional cookies does not stop you using the core learning service.

You can also remove cookies through your browser settings. Removing the consent-choice cookie may cause the site to ask for your choice again.

5. Analytics and new technologies

If we introduce additional non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will update this policy and ensure they are subject to the appropriate consent controls before being activated for visitors who have not allowed them.

6. Contact

Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to hello@readwritearabic.com. For more information about how we use personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
